I read about the idea of a “Cat Adoption Agreement” when I was advertising one of my cat’s kittens and they seemed like a good idea. Of course, I’m too anal to just download a form and use it. I normally have to ‘improve’ it a lot, or even start one from scratch, even if I’m planning on only using it once or twice. (I know, I know I think it’s an illness).
Seemed pointless to do all that work then never use the form again, so I thought I’d put it up here in case anyone else wants to use it as a starting point for their own. (There I go, assuming that everyone else has the same hang-ups I do!) It works fine to fill in everything by hand, or you can ‘pre-complete’ parts in type if you prefer. You can remove the remaining ‘underline’ if you prefill some of the form out simply by dragging the 99.5 tab stop off. There’s also plenty of room to add two or three more items if you want, before it will spill onto two pages.
There’s also a PDF version, if you just want to print it off and use it ‘as is’ or (heaven forbid) you don’t have Word or wordprocessing software that will open Word documents. Depending on how your browser is set up it may open rather than download, in which case you should be able to save a copy to a local directory.
