Position: Fixed Term Contract, from 12/08 to 05/09
Reporting to: Transition Programme Manager
My Role: Interserve FM won a contract to supply FM services to Foreign & Commonwealth Office premises in the UK and western Europe. As Transition Facilities Manager I was responsible for pre-contract start checks and preparation in relation to sites in Dusseldorf, Munich and Luxembourg. Latterly, I was responsible for ‘hand holding’ the client’s teams in Geneva and Berne as contract implementation was delayed there.

Staff: ‘In-house’ delivery of residential property management, reception, mailroom, janitorial and porterage services
– Training of and contact for TUPEing staff (3 Germany, 2 Luxembourg, 8 Switzerland.)
– Understanding and feedback of ‘local’ divergence from understood TUPE practices
– Recruitment of staff where required (2 Germany, 2 Switzerland)

Service Delivery: Production of Work Instructions for ‘self-delivered’ elements of contract
Ensuring contracts in place to meet client need and IFM’s contractual obligations for contracted out services
