Tim has been a panellist on four hundred and eighteen shows. Since the show first began he has rarely missed an edition. He has few running gags himself, except perhaps his tendency to cry “repetition” or “time’s up” at every opportunity, and – in the earlier shows – pleas for re-runs of The Goodies. However, he is the butt of several, with the chairman often alluding to him not working except for his appearances on the show. Having a somewhat higher pitched voice than the other regular panellists, it’s usually him who takes the female role whenever one is necessary. (For example, he is frequently Queen Elizabeth II)
