My Role: Initially ‘demerger’ from sharing services with Toshiba UK and relocation to a new site, then delivery of day-to-day FM services
Site: 42,000 ft2 Head Office, incorporating open plan and cellular offices, design, conference and warehouse facilities, accommodating 150 staff
Budgets: Expense c. £1.5m (including rent and rates)
Capital Varied according to requirements
Staff: Direct 4 full-time assistants and 2 part-time Receptionists
Contract 1 Security (24/7); 3 Catering; 1 Engineering
Scope: Strategic, operational and budgetary responsibility for:
Property Space Planning, Internal Relocations, Refurbishment, Rent Reviews, Rating Appeals
Services Health & Safety, Telecommunications, Facsimile, Telex, Reception, Mailroom, Vending & Catering, Hospitality, Security, Printing & Reprographic, Cleaning, Waste,
Admin Facilities Planning, Insurance, Car Fleet, Travel, Archives, Contracts, Purchasing
Maintenance M&E, Systems, Equipment, Fabric, Grounds
Achievements:    Fit out of, and transfer to, a new HO building – project value £1.2m
Design and build a prestigious Customer Centre – project value £250k
Complete reorganisation of open plan offices in seven days
